Lately, Anne Hathaway has been keeping us on our toes when it comes to her hairstyle. While filming the widely-acclaimed film “Les Miserables” in 2012, Hathaway chopped off her long, flowing hair.'
“It had the effect of changing my identity,” Hathaway reportedly said. “I was reduced to a mental patient level of crying…I was inconsolable.”
Hathaway went on to be a short-haired bride when she married Adam Shulman in September 2012. She adorned her short do’ with a really thick, flapper-like headpiece attached to a long veil. For a while, her newfound pixie cut remained her traditional brunette shade.
Then, at the Met Gala in early May 2013, she debuted punkish platinum-blonde hair. Much to her surprise, Hathaway claimed to be fond of her new color, which she didn’t intend to keep.
“As soon as I did it, I thought I didn't want it to be temporary any longer,” she said.
However, being blonde must not have been all that is was cracked up to be. By the end of May, Hathaway was back to being a brunette.
