You’ve seen them on TV-Beauty queens with piles of curly, shiny hair. You may have wondered how these smiling beauties obtain such elaborate hair styles. And such long locks! The answer is simple. Hair extensions!
Beauty queens have been using hair extensions for years. In fact, Alexandra Goedecke, who recently competed in Canadian teen beauty pageant, wore Pro Extensions clip-in human hair extensions during the contest.
Goedecke said that even after she’d had and worn her extensions every day for 30 days, the extensions still remained soft and silky.
“I wear them out, I wear them to school, I wear them shopping…I wear them all the time,” Goedecke said.

Hansenn also suggests that beauty contest entrants also look for a hairstyle that will suit their face shape and be most flattering. If any type of clip, bow or other accessory is planned to use in the hair, she recommends making sure it doesn’t clash with the contestant’s outfit. An eHow style article on pageant hair tips suggests that contestants back comb their hair to add volume because in the pageant world, more hair is better.
One Pro Extensions product that can help add a teased, volumized look is the Pro Pump.
Pro Pump measures 4 ¾ inches long and 5 ¾ inches wide at the cap with an actual hair length of about 13 inches. Each Pro Pump contains 75 grams of real human hair, to ensure you can achieve that voluminous look.
