Most people know Jennifer Lawrence from her role as Katniss Everdeen in the widely popular film “The Hunger Games.” The film’s much-anticipated sequel, “Catching Fire” is set to be released in theaters on November 22, 2013.
However, since “The Hunger Games” debuted in March 2012, Lawrence has taken lead roles in a variety of other movies including “House at the End of the Street” and “Silver Linings Playbook.”
On Saturday April 20, 2013, Lawrence appeared at the GLAAD Awards in Los Angeles to present former President Bill Clinton with the Advocate for Change Award. And even though she accidentally called him “Gil Clinton,” the starlet, who was only 2 years old when the President first took office, jokingly made fun of her mistake and won over the audience.
Despite her mispronunciation of the former president’s name, nothing was amiss with the young star’s new hair, which she debuted at the event. In the past, Lawrence has been known for her long, dark tresses. However, her new do’ is much shorter, and lighter, than what she traditionally wears. The cute, caramel blonde hair, styled in loose waves, gave Lawrence a youthful, yet sophisticated glow.
She complimented her new hair with a gorgeous black dress by David Koma. The form-fitting dress, which flared out just below her hips, featured a sleek, sheer neckline.
