Hitting the snooze button five times seemed like a great idea- until you realize that you have to be in class or at work in the next 30 minutes! You want to look stylish and put together, but there is no time for a major primping session. Instead of grabbing jeans and a hoodie, or sweatpants and a t-shirt, take five minutes to quickly survey your closet. You’ll be glad you did!

Mixing and matching prints and colors is really hot this season. One of our favorite outfits is a solid color V-neck sweater and a fabulous printed skirt. A colorful purse in a color that compliments the sweater is the perfect accessory. Add strappy heels or sandals, and you’re out the door!

Try combining basic items, like a white t-shirt, with a higher-fashion garment, such as a suede pencil skirt, when you are pressed for time. A vibrant purse or clutch, paired with printed flats, is all you need to look and feel fabulous in no time!

Colorful skinny jeans are also very fashionable. Try pairing them with a neutral tuxedo shirt and a form-fitting blazer in a contrasting color to create a polished, office-ready look. Complete the ensemble with pointy-toe high heels and a bright handbag to match.

For a more casual look, slip on your favorite cropped jeans and a knit sweater. A stylish oversized bag and ballet flats complete the look without making you look frumpy.

TIP: Organize Now, Save Time Later

On a day when you aren’t running late, try organizing your closet so selecting an outfit each day is as simple as possible. For instance, sort your closet into sections for skirts, tops and pants. Next, sort those sections by color. Try mixing and matching different color combinations to see what works well together!
